It was an interesting night.
Kept me on my toes--and on chairs and tables while setting up lights and getting shots.





















A great crowd--rowdy and willing to sing (and drink!) so everyone in BLISS had a great time and really appreciated the love.

Invisible Dates

It was a huge improvement being able to see my calendar online.
But without the dates it's back to the sketchy past...

Moonlighting?

For three years I have been the sound engineer and photographer for String Theory.
The band has de-evolved into a weekday-only side project since the bassist and drummer joined The MAX and the singer is in FUZE, plus my weekends are full of BLISS and Sea Monkeys.











Sometimes Sherlock's kicks ass on a Wednesday ($2.25 Big Ass Beer), and the money doesn't suck at all.

Since I'm kept a little busy doing sound, plus changing batteries on the wireless gear and fixing everything that breaks (and talking to people and drinking) I only get to spend about three minutes total taking pictures each night.

Sometimes I think it's a miracle I can get anything useable.
I also think it's a mystery how other people can shoot bands the whole night and get nothing but crap...
